It started as a fun gift. In anticipation of a visit to family friends on Cape Cod, Daniel Minzner, veteran cabinet maker and owner of Minzner & Co., made a Massachusetts shaped cutting board and called it the Cape Cutting Board. Thus was born the Cape Cutting Board Co.

All of the cutting boards are made from Bamboo, a rapidly renewable natural resource. They can grow up to 2 feet a day and 60 to 80 feet in a year and can harden in 5 years to be equal in strength to a 50 year old tree. Harder than maple, Ply-boo (plywood Bamboo) makes a great cutting surface. Bamboo is also a beautiful and natural choice for kitchen decor and utilization.
